I have many sketch book drawings. These are a few from my portfolio.
I wanted to include drawing on this site as it is so important to the process of my work. Some artists don't feel the need to draw constantly. I always find it helps make a pathway into painting. One draws when painting and paints when drawing, it is all part of the same process.
Charcoal drawing on A1 is a basic exercise and very helpful if a painting is 'stuck'. I like the discipline of drawing regularly, rather like a pianist practising scales daily.
